Edda Mann ist im ehemaligen Ostberlin aufgewachsen. Mit 17 hat sie das Mutterhaus verlassen, um in Potsdam das Abitur zu machen. 2003/2004/2005 hat sie erst an der UDK Berlin und dann an der Städelschule in FFM (Klasse Christa Näher) Kunst/ Freie Malerei studiert.
Durch die Geburt ihres Sohnes wurden ihre Wege verändert und die Malerei für 15 Jahre auf Eis gelegt. Während dieser 15 Jahren wurde die Ausbildung zur Modeschneiderin abgeschlossen, einige Tanz-/ Theater- und Kurzfilmproduktion als Kostümbildnerin betreut und ein eigenes Geschäft geführt: Der “KONK”. Ein Store für Berliner Mode, Schmuck und Accessoires (2012 bis 2018).
Die Geburt der Tochter 2015 und die Achterbahn des Lebens haben den Weg zurück zur Malerei und zum Styling geebnet.
“Ich liebe Menschen und die Natur. Im Wald fühl ich mich zugehörig und in Botswana so klein, dass es sich schon wieder gut anfühlt. Ich lebe mit meinen beiden Kindern nach wie vor in Berlin.”

Edda Mann grew up in the former East Berlin, left the motherhouse early to do her Abitur in Potsdam and studied fine art/ painting at the UDK Berlin and at the Städelschule in FFM (class Christa Näher).
The paths were changed by the birth of her son and painting was put on hold for 15 years. During these 15 years, the training as a fashion dressmaker was completed, some dance / theater and short film production as a costume designer supervised and a business/ store was owned.
"KONK", a store for Berlin fashion, jewelry and accessories, was managed from 2012 to 2018. The birth of her daughter in 2015 and the roller coaster of life paved Edda’s way back to painting and to personal styling.
